GreenDayReallySucks ::: Favorites 2008-01-16 16:46:26 And let me guess, it's some gay anime character? I miss the OLD cartoons and shit, nowadays its all anime (which is highly overrated and a stupid trend if you ask me). I really don't mind at all that the Japanese who invented it watch it. To them it's normal. But some americans are just jumping on the bandwagon and wearing gay Naruto headbands to the mall __________________________________________________

soldmysoul2rocknroll ::: Favorites 2007-11-27 08:06:13 I don't think this film does the book justice, although Pryce is class. __________________________________________________

captain07234 ::: Favorites 2007-11-13 16:58:56 Jason Robards was the right age for the part, plus the fact that he was older than the character added to the characters regret and depression. He was great as the embodiment of good. Not to mention Jonathan Pryce as Mr. Dark. Two amazing actors knocking it out of the park. __________________________________________________
wawawis ::: Favorites 2007-11-06 13:46:29 yeah, Jason Robards was born in 1921 and this movie was made in 1982 meaning he could have been as old as 61! The mother, played by Diane Ladd, was around 50. __________________________________________________

JWGames ::: Favorites 2007-10-23 17:16:03 Brilliant scene. Aren't we all haunted by regret to some degree? The freedom offered in Christ abolishes all regret. __________________________________________________
usherpoe ::: Favorites 2007-10-02 12:43:38 Mr. Dark is not the devil; this is made quite explicit in the novel on page 203 (chapter 40). The whole point is that we do not need a devil; we have evil within us, each and every one of us, that will tempt us. To call Mr. Dark the devil is to miss one of the basic thematic points of the text. __________________________________________________
CptShaMoke ::: Favorites 2007-08-17 17:23:45 nice clip, I personally enjoyed the diary scene more then the original encouter in the book. It seemed to bring out the more dark and decieving side of Dark. __________________________________________________
netcinema ::: Favorites 2007-08-17 12:02:46 obsidiantech: It's not a fictious character. Most all Bradbury characters are based on somebody that crossed Bradbury's life. For instance, in his movie(book: Wonderful Ice Cream Suit, everyone is 'real'. All those characters were based on people Ray knew. Media is also the strongest influence in our present culture. Perhaps our closest friend(s) may trump that. __________________________________________________
