I suggest a couple of reasons: Firstly televison at that time, while clinging to play-back as opposed to live performance, had very little idea how to present it. Look at it: Frida is placed on a completely empty floor without even that minimum prop - a microphone. She is a very beautiful woman, of course, but essentially she IS her voice in a way that perhaps Agnetha (and someone like Madonna certainly) isn't.
