I guess its strange. The best in any field- whether it be Basketball and Jordan or even Cooking and Gordan Ramsay- require so much dedication and focus- and intensity that it knocks other people around and dosent even make sense. But that edge - although hard to understand sometimes- is what makes them so great.

You're right it isn't a bad thing and try and name me one athlete who pushed their teammates as hard as he did, who wasn't accused of being a jerk at one point of time. I don't really give a damn if he was a complete asshole to his teammates, if they couldn't handle it, they should have just got their asses out of town.

But as I said, I don't think it's a bad thing. He had the respect of his teammates, that's what's important.

I don't really care about Sam Smith or one of the ESPN vassals, they have their own agenda.
But the evidence is there. From the talk of his former teammates, his coaches to those who were close with the Bulls at that time, they will tell you the same things. Combine that with Jordan's extreme obsession with winning and him being a control freak, and you have to come to the same conclusion.

Well you better start admiring the rest of his personality because all the talk of him being a jerk to teammates his way overblown. You can't just believe everything that Sam Smith says. The guy is a total moron and his idea of a column is seeing who you can trade on the Bulls.

Jordan was a jerk sometimes, so what. He wasn't a nice teammate, but a great leader, if that makes sense. And that's what I admire about him, his skills and leadership qualities. The rest, not so much.
