mdj2010 ::: Favorites In terms of questioning him as a writer you have to say it depends what you want to read and what you want out of a novel. I also think the idea of King as the greatest writer of all time comes only from those who have read very little, but you cannot question that he has set a modern benchmark in the skill of suspense, something that the reader can appreciate in even his poorer novels. Ill admit he has a lot of books where I genuinely believe I could do better but then there are the novels which are true gold.
