kdunlap626 ::: Favorites Yes Schnauzers are not swimming dogs, ours Miniature Schnauzer hates the water, when we did give her a swimming lessons a couple of times she would sink down and her head went under the water. We did not know Schnauzers are not swimming dogs but when we got a Cocker Spaniel we saw the difference in the two dogs bodies.
