She wouldn't listen when anyone (including Kaede) tried to tell her Inuyasha didn't attack her. She tried to kill Kagome, stole her jewel shards, and gave them to Naraku. She can't have Inuyasha, so she doesn't want him with anyone, and that's selfish.
