Near the end of this clip, is yet another of Carl Sagan's most profound messages: "There are in fact 100 billion galaxies, each of which contain something like a 100 billion stars....We find that we live on an insignificant planet, of a humdrum star, lost in a galaxy, tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe, in which there are far more galaxies than people." |

| ManifestMiasma 2008-02-24 07:51:52 I see how patient he is, how clearly he relates such complex sciences as stellar spectroscopy or extrasolar planet detection to the minds of children, and I see what a wonderful educator - not just scientist - he was.
