Meltingfaces ::: Favorites Just a warning guys. I bought this album and listened to it for a week straight almost. It now burns when I pee. Listen responsibly. 07-09-29 04:46:44 __________________________________________________
maxalember ::: Favorites I became a fan after just one listen of "ferment" in the early 90s, down there in Chile, where the only way to find that album was looking into the bargain bin of our local record store under "female artists" (!!!)... ahaha, I bought Ferment original and sealed for like 2 dollars... yay for misinformed record stores! 07-09-01 09:39:13 __________________________________________________
ziggypaz ::: Favorites Check out a band called the fall.they are preety wild! also the lead singer ofcatherine wheel is the 1st cousin of bruce dickenson(lead singer of iron maiden. 07-07-13 03:46:00 __________________________________________________
LeonardAndNickFan ::: Favorites Shhhh... he's feeling cruel... he's on his way!! Yeah this is amazing!! So, you're not a Nick Cave fan yet??? What up with that?? But, yeah, I can confirm your songs on MySpace are sublime and intriguing!! Robert Rich? Steve Roach? Dunno those dudes yet. But thanks for the recommendations merkster!! 07-07-10 22:45:18 __________________________________________________
1lawgrad ::: Favorites never heard of them until i saw this vid on mtv. bought all their cd's after. 07-07-03 02:03:11 __________________________________________________
merkiron ::: Favorites If you like experimental check out my page, and the track "Bats, I just put up. There are two pages: myspace/spacenative and myspace/itsrockitscience experimental is good! I have some pretty interesting artists in my collection, Heard of Robert Rich or Steve Roach? Check them out! 07-06-12 10:17:40 __________________________________________________
limegreensquid ::: Favorites I guess i mean happy-sounding music. I don't know much about the lyrics. But it's like Radiohead. Their old stuff bores me (from Pablo Honey, and most of The Bends). It's just your average alternative band. But once they started experimenting from OK Computer and on, i just love them. I'm waiting, or trying to hear more experimental music in the world. 07-06-12 00:15:13 __________________________________________________
merkiron ::: Favorites The emotional side I think is pretty dark sometimes. Especially on the tracks from "Like Cats and Dogs" Listen to High Heels, These Four walls, Sacharine, and Harder Than I am" THat CD was the closest thing to HD that they did. Rob's emo is harrowing! "In these four walls I've given...up!" I get you, their sound over all is not dark. But happy and light..? Hardly. A band that sings, "Pain here it comes again, Pain, a knife behind the eyes, a viscious size ..again." 07-06-11 11:04:25 __________________________________________________
limegreensquid ::: Favorites I guess i just don't like many happy-sounding light songs. This was the only dark sounding song of theirs that i can find (and i've looked). Not that i mean dark is always better, but this had a certain oomph that i liked that just isn't present in other songs. They're just a regular "alternative post-grunge" band to me. But i've always liked more exciting music anyway. 07-06-11 10:56:05 __________________________________________________
merkiron ::: Favorites "They just didn't have anymore good songs."...? That's hilarious! Sorry, but you need to re-visit any/ all of their masterfull albums! This video I had been looking for for years! It blew me away. I thought who are THESE guys?!" I got Happy Days and it was above and beyond what was required of a "sucessful" band in the 90's ( a hell of a lot more than now!). I caught up with thier other works and have been a devoted wheel head ever since.! Thanks for posting! 07-06-11 10:35:33 __________________________________________________ |
