appetancy ::: Favorites Using some of Marion's devices, Richard changed the world's view of singing. Plus she's influenced many more singers, including Aretha. Range alone doesn't make a great singer. But, if you gotta measure, Marion as a lyric soprano topped out at an e above high C, and could hit notes almost four octaves lower.
