My 1st Taekwondo Tournament Match, I AM IN RED!

Description:

This is my one and only match in Master Seung's Elimination Challenge Tournament. Division: Lightweight 14 yrs old Blue belt approx. 5'10" height I am the one in the RED Hogo (armor). If you pay attention I get kicked below the waiste (ding dong) about 5 times, and ref did'nt do anything. This was my first time in a tournament so, i was nervous and messed up badly. Anyways, just watch. P.S. I dont want any comments on how much I suck or anything, I'll take suggestions on how to improve though...tnx Im also guessing my breathing was slowed down cuz i had to bite my mouthguard, especially since it kept falling off (I have braces so yeah...) therefore i couldnt shout.

hey yea i know wat ya mean it was my daughters first time competing, shes 7 and she got 2nd place in her sparring, but she was doing more kicks den anything but yeah, she a yellow belt my sis is orange myself is yellow as well, ull get it better next time, dont jump around so much u lose lots of energy. like dat,

ooh yeah he did kick u below da belt quite a bit wen i had my first match i kept get distracted nd cudnt yell cuz da gum shield is annoyin but wiv da mor fights u do it gets easier nd more relaxed nd u get a hollee lot more confident =]

oh i see, umm from what i can tell (in my opinion) is that you were using too much energy, ur like jumping and moving all over the place at first and that takes a lot of energy and kicking everywhere too, just take it easy, move back and forth with small steps and attack when u think u can get a point and counter attack fast and that would help to keep some energy, umm if u watch those olympics videos u will see what im talking about they just stay there and attack 1 in a while

i easily run out of air...thats why i had to take long breaks during the match to get some air, i dont breathe too well...

umm lets see, its good if it was ur first time and ur a blue belt, but if you want to get better and win nationals or internationals, you're going to have to do a little bit of work. I can see that ut tired in the last round and i bet is cuz ur nervous and it was ur first match, i felt that way too when i had my first match so yeah try getting in shape and learning how to kick fast and when to kick
