mynamizdavid ::: Favorites 2007-12-08 00:31:18 How do you reorganize your songs in your playlist in the Zune software? When I add songs into my playlist, I usually add it non alphabetically so it gets annoying not having my songs in alphabetical order. So is there a way to order my songs in my playlist alphabetically? __________________________________________________
babycabel ::: Favorites 2007-12-04 23:37:22 Dude can you post a video of how to put 20 or more Unknown album into 1?? , Like yu put 20 songs in 1 album?? __________________________________________________
ThoughtsMedia ::: Favorites 2007-12-04 15:49:26 Yes, that's true. But from my perspective, that makes sense - I want the Zune to be a mirror image of what's on my PC; I don't want to have to manage two different collections of music, photos, and videos. I guess you feel differently? :-) - Jason __________________________________________________
MegaManZeroV1 ::: Favorites 2007-12-03 23:09:21 Just realized when you delete stuff from the collection, it automatically comes off the Zune as well...WTF were they thinking when they made this update... __________________________________________________
MegaManZeroV1 ::: Favorites 2007-12-03 19:43:59 How can I tell if my metadata (sorry, I don't even know what metadata means) is wrong or right? And how do I fix it? Also, is there a way I can change the name artist's name for the album? In the old software, I could rename the artist's name and/or the album title for a folder. __________________________________________________
ThoughtsMedia ::: Favorites 2007-12-03 13:32:07 Most likely, this is an example of the Zune software not reading the metadata in your songs properly. There is no fix until Microsoft releases new software that addresses the issues...and I have no idea when that might be. If your metadata is in fact wrong, you should switch from BROWSE to LIST view and edit the metadata of your songs to fix it all up. - Jason __________________________________________________
MegaManZeroV1 ::: Favorites 2007-12-02 21:00:00 Ok so I have an album I want added to my colletion (then the zune), but when I do add it to the collection as one folder, the songs still show up seperate. They'll be grouped together in ones, twos, and threes sometimes. Anyway, in the old zune software I was able to drag everything into each other to restore the folder in its proper form. I can't seem to do that with v2. Is there a way this can be fixed? Thanks. __________________________________________________
chickentime182 ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 22:54:53 u have a funny zune name __________________________________________________
millie6169 ::: Favorites 2007-11-16 19:36:04 Thanks Jason :-) I still haven't even gotten my zune yet...lol! __________________________________________________
ThoughtsMedia ::: Favorites 2007-11-16 19:33:42 Actually, the default I have for the Zune software is 256 kbps MP3. That's the setting I suggest for the best combination of audio quality and compatibility. I don't recommend ripping to WMA, because you never know if your next device will support WMA. MP3 is the gold standard, still. - Jason __________________________________________________
millie6169 ::: Favorites 2007-11-16 19:21:21 Would I be sacrificing quality for more space on my computer if I left it at 128kbps? Thanks alot __________________________________________________
millie6169 ::: Favorites 2007-11-16 19:18:32 Question! I noticed that in the settings the default audio format for ripping is WMA (constant bit rate). Would it be better to change it to MP3 and if so is 192 Kbps a good sound quality for the Zune? __________________________________________________
ThoughtsMedia ::: Favorites 2007-11-16 18:26:57 Yes, that's one of the things it does quite well. :-) - Jason __________________________________________________
millie6169 ::: Favorites 2007-11-16 17:59:59 I love how the folders are "watched". Like if I happen to rename a file I don't have to resync it like on itunes. __________________________________________________
